This is the journey closest to home. Around Pasighat and the village of Mebo, we step into everyday Adi life — the longhouses and community dorms, the riverine culture of the lower Siang, and the birdlife of Daying Ering island. Because this is where John grew up, the doors that open here are the doors of family and neighbours, and the welcome is entirely genuine.
