The journey
Overview
Arunachal Pradesh holds some of India's last untouched river systems, and this expedition puts a rod in your hand on the Siang, Siyom, Subansiri, Dibang, Lohit and other selected waters, depending on season and conditions. It's built for anglers chasing something wilder than a stocked pond — every cast here is framed by dense forest, mountain water, and stretches of river that see very few outsiders. Whether you've fished for years or are picking up a rod for the first time, the days combine angling with the surrounding wildlife, local culture, and a guide who knows which pools are worth the walk. We fish with care — catch-and-release where it makes sense, respect for local regulations, and a real relationship with the communities along these rivers, so the fisheries stay healthy for the next cast, and the next generation. This five-day sample can extend into 7- or 10-day expeditions for anglers who want to work multiple rivers and reach further into the remote stretches.
