The journey

Overview

Arunachal Pradesh sits among the finest birding and wildlife ground in the Eastern Himalayas, and this tour is built for people who come looking for it deliberately — birdwatchers, photographers, researchers, and conservationists rather than casual sightseers. We move through Eaglenest, Pakke, Namdapha, Mouling, Mehao, Dibang Valley, Siang Valley, and other hotspots that hold hornbills, tragopans, laughingthrushes, and, in the right habitat, the rare red panda alongside hoolock gibbon and Himalayan black bear. Every itinerary is shaped around the season, your target species, and your interests, so mornings and evenings go to birding while the middle of the day opens up forest trails, river valleys, and time with local guides who know these ecosystems from the inside. A day inside a national park or sanctuary is paired with a day given to indigenous villages and their own conservation practices — the wildlife and the people who live alongside it are treated as part of the same story. October to April brings pleasant weather and good visibility; March to May rewards visitors with breeding birds, flowering forests, butterflies, and orchids. We keep groups small and observe wildlife responsibly, in line with our broader commitment to ethical, low-impact tourism in these forests.
